Oil Based Plant Medicine: Folk Method

Workshops are geared towards adults, age 16+ In this workshop, families are welcome, with a minimum age of 9 (ie: students are 9-15 allowed to register only with an also-registered adult) Instructor: Chelsea Ernst 5:45-7:45pm This workshop is for beginners, or for folks who have taken a general plant medicine workshop and want to focus more deeply on one type of plant medicine. We will learn some native and cultivated herbs whose medicine works well in topical oils. We will learn about warm infusions and cold infusions, showing examples of how to make both using the folk method. We will try some of Chelsea's prepared oils topically, experiencing their nourishment and smells. We will strain a prepared infused oil for folks to take home with them. We will concoct a salve together for folks to take home. We will meet at a park pavilion in Bend proper. Please see your email for the exact park location in the weeks before this class.
