Service Description
Workshops are geared towards adults age 16+ Students age 12-15 may attend this workshop with an adult Take a short (less than 2 mile) stroll through the snow with us! We'll stop and talk about any nature finds we come across. Topics we'll encounter range from tracking wildlife in the snow to winter bird ID to winter plant ID, lichens, mushrooms, snow science and more! If you have snowshoes, bring them along! We have borrowing pairs of snowshoes, as well! Please dress for winter weather, with warm and waterproof layers, waterproof boots and/ or gaiters, warm socks, hat, gloves, and a day pack with water and snacks in them. We will meet at a local public land area on the edge of Bend (exact location and details of what to bring will be emailed to you when you register). Here, we will get to know each other and the land a little better by practicing skills together. Please feel free to email us with any questions!

Cancellation Policy
Nighthawk doesn't guarantee refunds. They are not typical and fully depend on our ability to fill the spot. If we are able to fill your spot after your cancellation, a future class credit will be issued. If Nighthawk cancels a whole course, participants will be credited for a future course if rescheduling isn't possible. Partial course cancellations/adjustments/reschedules due to inclement weather, etc. are not typically credited.
