Adult Immersion Courses and Series Courses

This course focuses on a variety of ecological studies, including plant and animal identification, osteology, animal behavior, wildlife track and sign, bird language, ethnobotany and plant medicine, phenology, wild edibles and wild cooking, and more. It will culminate in a weekend camp-out where we will get to practice what we've learned throughout the course.
Series Courses have 3+ meetings and are on weekends or weeknight evenings. These focus on one or more related topics. Some examples of past, current, and upcoming series topics:

These courses touch on a variety of survival and natural history topics, including plant and animal identification, navigation, survival shelters, friction fire, water purification, edible plants, tool making, wildlife tracking, outdoor leadership and safety and more. Some Survival Courses culminate in a survival trip, where participants will use all the knowledge and skills they've gained throughout the course. See individual courses for details
